Job Title: Forklift Operator

Equipment 1: Raymond Reach

Shift: (7am-3:30pm) Weekends may be needed

Equipment 2: Order Picker / Counterbalance Forklift
Location: Warehouse / Manufacturing Facility
Shift: 07:00am to 05:00pm – OT may be required

Job Summary

The Operator is responsible for accurately picking, labeling, and moving inventory using powered industrial equipment and manual handling methods. This role requires strong order-picking skills, confidence working at heights, and experience using scanner guns and handheld devices in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Rymond Resch and counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
Perform order picking and order put away using scanner guns and handheld devices
Accurately pick, label, and stage product according to work orders
Complete a significant amount of manual handling, including lifting, carrying, and stacking product
Work at heights while operating order-picking equipment in compliance with safety standards
Use WMS (Warehouse Management System) and other handheld systems to track inventory and orders
Conduct equipment pre-use inspections and report any safety or mechanical issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company policies, SOPs, and health & safety requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years warehouse experience in order picking or material handling
Certified and experienced operating:
Raymond Reach
Counterbalance forklift
Strong experience using scanner guns and handheld warehouse devices
Familiarity with WNS or similar warehouse management systems
Comfortable performing manual labour throughout the shift
Confident working at heights for extended periods

Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
