This Kollsman vintage altimeter would be great for a "man cave", an historic display or for actual altitude meaurement where "to the foot" precision was not required.
It looks great and works fine ... but would have to be refurbished and recertified for actual aircraft use.
I used it for decades when pulling my travel trailer over the Rockies. If the engine was really working It was very useful for knowing you were on a steep incline or if you had "reached the top".

- adjustment knob for barometric pressure ... in inches Hg (mercury)
