Greenhouse Help Wanted – North Main St.
Part-time, casual, temporary
We are gearing up for the 2026 gardening season and are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly person to join our team.
Job description:
• Possess an excellent working knowledge of annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs, trees, shrubs and other landscaping materials
• Ability to assess customer needs and recommend specific plants, based upon product availability
• Provide friendly, quality customer service in a clear, concise and mature manner
• Create and maintain display areas to enhance overall customer experience
• Work independently and with fellow staff
• Lift heavy goods (50lbs) and provide assistance to customer’s vehicle
• Adhere to watering schedule and make adjustments based upon temperature and humidity
• Maintain healthy and happy plants – deep watering, removal of deadfall and trimming overgrowth
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace at all times

Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed Sundays, July 1st Canada Day, the August long-weekend and Labour Day.
