Entry Level Payroll Administrator
Richmond Hill, ON
This is a full time position - not suitable for students

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Payroll Administrator to join our team in Richmond Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in payroll and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and processing of payroll while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Administer payroll and time & attendance functions including:
Inputting new hires
Updating employee status changes
Processing wage adjustments
Handling employee terminations
Submitting Records of Employment (ROE)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records in the ADP system
Address and investigate payroll and time & attendance inquiries and discrepancies
Assist with year-end payroll processing, including reconciliations and preparation of T4 and T4A slips
Perform calculations for monthly sales commissions
Generate payroll reports and assist with payroll reconciliations
Provide training and support to Supervisors and Managers on ADP Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Analytics modules
Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and other departments to support seamless payroll operations
Qualifications:
1 year of payroll or payroll-related experience preferred
PCP designation from the National Payroll Institute or currently working toward PCP certification
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is considered an asset but not required
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
