Description
Meet North- A three year old paintXQH grade mare. She is the most friendly and lovable mare you will ever have the pleasure to meet. A real fan favourite.
Standing a solid 15.hh with good solid feet. Never been lame, good thick bone.
Recently dewormed and feet done.

She has all her basics-
✔️A comfortable walk, trot, lope, wicked stop- throw some sliders on this filly and I think she’d be great.
✔️No buck, bolt, rear, or kick.
✔️Soft supple back up
✔️balanced leads.
✔️She has the understanding of shoulder, hip, and sidepass movement, it just needs refining.
She knows all of it well enough but it needs finishing.

I showed her In hand in 4-h doing showmanship, trail, and lunge line. We hauled out so much that year and she stands for hours.
She was stalled at multiple times and did just fine.
Hauled to a show this summer and while it was pretty crazy for her young mind, she took it very well.

North has lead lined complete beginners and is trusted with all the wild kids running around. With some more experience, this is the kind of horse you could trust with anyone anytime.

Trotted the barrel pattern, free jumped, ridden in the fields, used in 4-h. This mare can genuinely go any direction you want her to. She has the foundation for all of it. I think she’d excel at rodeo/ gymkhana too it’s just not my discipline so we haven’t work much on it.

Been bathed, never pulls back, loads like a dream, done lots of arena work, seen some trails, been hobbled, respects electric.
More whoah then go but she has the engine when she needs it, easy keeper, good winter coat.
I can always rely on her to be the friendliest is the pasture, easy to catch, and so in your pocket. Really just an angel horse.
Ride her fully tacked in the bridle, bare back in the halter, or fully English, she’s consistent the whole time. I used her bareback in a halter in the field to try and touch a scared horse and she was too good for me.

Here’s her short list of cons-
She chews the bit until you get her mind working. I’m thinking maybe she’d benefit with a roller or a double jointed bit that she mind find more comfortable.
Will paw in the trailer if she’s all alone, if not she’s very quiet.
She is an eat through the fence kinda horse, hence the shorter mane. With electric or smaller gaps, she leaves it alone.
Working on it, but sometimes she trails through the shoulder. With a supporting leg she follows her nose better.

She is still young, and although she has a long resume, she belongs to a home with experience. She stills needs to be taught and guided. Not a mindless ride. She won’t be your first horse unless you have someone willing and able to mentor and help you.

Does have hardly noticeable scarring from a wire cut as a yearling. Doesn’t bother her, and you would never see it unless you looked hard.

This was my keeper horse, I bought her as a weanling with all the intentions of her being my main mount, but with an upcoming move, and change in my program, although it’s a hard decision to sell her, she not the best fit anymore.
