SEEKING MATURE/COMPASSIONATE/DEDICATED WORKER TO PROVIDE CARE FOR AUTISTIC PERSON IN OWN HOME. This position involves improving the quality of life, ensuring a safe & comfortable living environment for a non-verbal individual.
-Duties include all personal care. -Meal preparation. - Administer medication. - Support with walking mobility and physical activity, safety and comfort. -Light housekeeping & Laundry. -Must possses a good knowledge and understanding of Autism. CPI and Behavioural training an asset.
The successful applicant must possess: -First Aid. -CPR. -TB check (within the previous 6 monoths) -Current letter of conduct. -Current letter of Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
- Must have experience and/or college training. -Ability to care for clients and their property with dignity and respect. - Must be responsible, mature, and trustworthy.
Three (3) written references are required before starting work.
