BASE
The base is fabricated with heavy-duty steel plate and is then stress-relieved to guarantee its overall rigidity and strength. The coolant tank is an integral part of the base with a large capacity and easy cleaning access.

HEAD FRAME
The head frame is cast from “high stress” aluminium. Heavy-duty bracing ensures there is no flex in the head frame generated by blade tension. This unique system absorbs all vibrations, greatly reducing the noise when cutting, even when cutting high resistant materials. This results in reduced cutting times and increased blade life. The head feed is hydraulic with feed force and feed rate controls.

BLADE GUIDE
The blade guides are an innovative system with specially designed guide blocks. They utilize both carbide plate blocks. This, along with two pairs of rollers mounted on the blade guide blocks assures a very quiet cutting cycle.

BLADE SPEED
The blade speed is variable from 115 to 230 SFM, or 65 to 328 SFM with the CNC or variable blade speed option.

MATERIAL FEEDING CARRIAGE
The 31” shuttle stroke utilizes a floating shuttle vise system which compensates for uneven/warped stock. Remnant length is one (1) inch.

FAST APPROACH/RETURN
The fast approach, return of the head is controlled by an electromechanical system that controls the distance between the blade and the work piece. During the fast approach the blade stops close to the piece and at the end of the cutting cycle the blade returns fast and stops 2 inches above the material, without any limit-switch adjustments.
DOWNFEED CONTROL
A positive down feed system with adjustable feed force and feed rate.

SAFETY
The machine is completely guarded. The band-wheel guards have electronic protection switches. Should the guards be opened during operation, the machine will shut down. A wire screen protects the work vice. A steel cover protects all hydraulic valves on the power pack.
