Belgian/QH cross 9 yr old 16.1 HH red roan gelding for sale. Pack and ride.

Cash has a sweet in your pocket type personality and loves attention. He has lots of experience with cows, packing, and is well broke. He has been ridden by people of all ages and experience levels but he is not a beginners horse.

Cash needs firm guidance from his primary owner or he will start to take advantage of someone less experienced. He will get pushy on the ground and will also become harder to steer with a timid rider. He has also become humpy when asked to go into the canter when we first got him, he has since stopped doing that with training but he isn’t being ridden by a beginner anymore and may do it again with someone who is not balanced riding.

All that being said if you are confident around horses and aren’t intimidated by his size you will have no issues with him. He has many years of packing experience in the mountains, feed lots, trails, and cattle drives. Nothing phases this horse, he has no spook in him.Can be ridden in a halter or a bit, good either way. Good in a herd mares or geldings. He is currently in training until sold.

At a walk on the trail you can put anyone on him, he will just follow the horse in front of him. He doesn’t love being ridden out alone but has no problems if he has an experienced rider.

Cash was sold to us as a beginners horse which he is not. We are looking to get 15k for him which is a lot less than we paid but we are still open to offers and want him to find his perfect home. Thank you for your consideration!
