Hey, everybody - instead of throwing away your electrical cords or damaged ends that don't work anymore, I'll come and get them. I just need the ends from them, and I recycle the wire (to keep them out of the dump) or I make cords out of them. And NO, I don't get the copper and make money - it's not even worth the fuel to do that. Again, I use what I can use, then donate the rest to recyclers.

AS STATED ABOVE: For all those who are writing with "I'll take them!" - please realize that I am *looking* for old cords - I do not have them to *give away*.

And a huge THANK YOU for all those who have donated - I've made 19 chords, and I've kept 27 large buckets from the landfill. Back into new working goods!

For those wanting me to pay $30 for your old cords .... nice try, but no - the only thing *I* get out of this - is lots of free hard work, and a couple/few extension cords. The rest is community service - keeping out of landfills. I don NOT take the copper in, and get $$ for it. It's not even worth the fuel to do that.
