2 1/2 year old purebred male Norwegian Elkhound. Has produced two beautiful litters with our female Elkhound and has now bred her for the third time. We will spay her after this litter and keep her as a pet, because we are trying to slow things down on the farm here so that we can travel a bit in our old age. We could neuter this male and keep him, too, but we already ended up with a second dog and three dogs is a lot to ask someone to dogsit when we're away, and he's such a handsome stud that I thought someone might want him. He is in perfect health and likes every person he's met, so far. We let him run around with our chickens in the yard, and there are no issues. He sometimes chases cats - it depends on the cat - but no guarantee on that point.
