**Job Overview:**

Are you a skilled pet groomer with a flair for making furry friends look and feel their best? We’re excited to invite an experienced FULL-Time Pet Groomer to join our team! If you’re passionate about animals and take pride in providing top-tier grooming services, we’d love to hear from you. This role offers a set schedule on Fridays, and Saturdays OR Sundays, with the opportunity to add three other weekdays.

**Duties:**

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets

- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort during grooming sessions

- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests

- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area

- Monitor pets for any health issues or concerns and report them to the appropriate staff

-Build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets

**Skills:**

- Customer service: Ability to interact professionally with pet owners and provide excellent customer service.

- Heavy lifting: Capable of lifting and handling pets of various sizes and weights.

- Team player: Exude a positive attitude with everyone on the team, as well as maintain a sense of reliability and adaptability.

- Time management: Can organize and plan how to best allocate time between different tasks and processes throughout the work day.

- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, in addition to shared spaces around the salon.

- Animal handling: Able to confidently work with animals and pick up/read their body language and cues and react accordingly.
