Retail Shirt Presser — Job Description
A Retail Shirt Presser operates pressing equipment to remove wrinkles from shirts and garments, ensuring high-quality presentation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Press and finish dress shirts and other garments using steam presses or hand irons
• Inspect clothing for stains, damage, or missing buttons before and after pressing
• Maintain quality standards and garment appearance
• Sort and organize completed orders
• Tag and prepare garments for customer pickup or delivery
• Follow safety procedures when using steam and pressing equipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements
• Ability to stand for entire shift

• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of garment care and fabrics
• Previous laundry or dry-cleaning experience may be preferred but is often not required
