Job Opportunity: Construction Worker & Supervisor
Description
We are seeking a motivated and capable individual who is eager to grow with our company. This is a full-time position, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
This role combines hands-on work with project management responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is both skilled in the trades and confident in leading job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from start to finish, including proper setup with protection and necessary tools.
- Perform hands-on work such as drywall, plastering, painting, and other finishing tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide clear direction to team members and subcontractors.
- Document work progress and provide daily updates to management.
- Identify and report any issues related to projects, materials, clients, or subcontractor performance immediately.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard; promote and enforce job site safety.
- Make informed decisions on-site, and recognize when to escalate questions or concerns.
- Pick up and deliver materials or transport items between job sites as required.
Requirements:
- Canadian Residency or Canadian Citizenship
- Strong work ethic with the ability and drive to grow within the company.
- Experience in finishing trades (drywall, plaster, painting, staining & varnish); additional skills such as framing, mill work, or other skills are an asset as well.
- Ability to lead, stay organized, and manage multiple responsibilities on-site.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving independently.
- Must be available for full-time work (Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays).
- Must be able to travel and work on job sites between the GTA and Halton Hills .
- Valid driver’s license required; company vehicle and gas provided, or use of own vehicle is acceptable.
