Convenience store at a high-traffic location in Calgary.

We need someone who can work 3-4 hours shifts primarily in the evenings 5pm to 9pm.
Added Bonus if you have a background in security as you need such experience thwarting thefts and shoplifters.

Important Requirement:
Applicants must have prior experience selling lottery tickets in a convenience store and handling Point of Sale (POS) transactions. This is a mandatory qualification for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, friendly service
Operate the POS system and cash register with accuracy and care
Handle cash and card transactions following proper procedures
Stock and re-stock shelves throughout the shift using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
Maintain clean, organized product displays and store environment
Assist with inventory counts and restocking
Communicate product features and benefits clearly to customers
Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction
Prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods

✅ Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory: Experience selling lottery tickets and handling POS transactions
Previous experience in convenience stores, retail, hospitality, or customer service is a strong asset
Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Punctuality, honesty, and reliability are essential
