Machine enables one man to convert logs into firewood with minimal effort.
Built to split ash, it will deal with most tree species.
The entire machine is heavily built, sits on 4 wheels, and it can be pulled with a light truck or farm tractor.
Operation
The processor has an infeed table that accepts logs up to10ft long.
Logs are rolled (downhill) into the intake conveyor.
The conveyor hydraulically advances the log into the cutting chamber, where it is cut to the desired length with a mounted chainsaw.
The cut log drops into the crush bed, where a 25 ton cylinder pushes the material through a 4 way (or 6 way) splitting wedge.
The infeed table folds up for transport.
