Truss & Wall Panel Assembler
Description
Warman Truss is looking for dependable and hard-working individuals who are eager to learn, value the importance of safety, and take pride in a job well done. We are a production facility (so expect it to be loud and dusty) that produces custom-made trusses, floors and prefabricated walls for garage, residential, farm and commercial buildings.
This is a hands-on job that will require you to be physically fit and keep pace with an assembly line. The position is safety-sensitive, and the successful candidate must adhere to a drug/alcohol-free workplace policy*. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like hearing protection and steel toed boots are required on the job-site.
No previous experience, but intrigued? Don’t sweat it. We will provide on the job training to set you up for success! If you do have previous experience, that’s great and we welcome your application.
What you will be doing:
- Construct wall panels, frames, and components using nail guns, saws, staplers, and measuring tapes, adhering to blueprints, cut sheets, or jigs.
- Assemble roof and/or floor trusses
- Layout components, stock plates, and prep wood or metal materials before assembly.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet structural and quality standards.
- Load and band finished materials for shipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment, operate equipment safely, and report malfunctions.
- Comply with all safety policies and safe-work practices.
- Work as part of a team.
Job Requirements:

- Experience with hand tools, power tools, air nail guns, and saws (specific to wall assembly).
- Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs. repetitively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Execute routine operations with high accuracy and quality standards.
- Demonstrate superior manual dexterity, ensuring accurate fit and alignment of parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (five10-minute breaks are structured every 2-hours to mitigate fatigue).
- Requires regular use of hands for detailed tasks, including grasping, handling, and tactile inspection, along with reaching and active verbal and listening communication.
‘Nice to have’:
- Previous experience in framing, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing is preferred.
