Specialized is the most innovative manufacturer and a name all cyclists know and trust. This 19", 2010 was considered to be the best performing mountain bike in its class ... and for good reason. With its lightweight frame, stable geometry and outstanding specification, no other entry-level hardtail on the market can match this combination of performance, versatility and value.
• The drive line starts with a XC crankset using Octalink-splined BB interface for reliable power transfer. Power is sent to the rear hub through a KMC, KMC X8 w/ reusable quick Link. Mounted on the forged alloy Shimano RM30 hub, which is double sealed and has a ground race is an 8 speed cassette. The hubs are laced with 32 spokes to Alex RH rims. These are pinned, alloy double wall and have CNC sidewalls. Both front and rear wheels are using quick release hubs making it easy to remove a wheel for fixing flats or loading in a car. Specialized spec’d this bike with SRAM X4 rear derailleur and 8-speed trigger shifters for precise shifting. Select any of the 3 front chain rings with the Shimano Altus front derailleur.
• The Specialized Fast Trak LK Sport tires keep you safe on or off road. They use a reduced knob height for lower rolling resistance. They measure 26x2.0" with 60TPI and a wire bead. Fast on hard packed or paths and still have grip if you go down an alley or dirt path. Braking is super solid thanks to front and rear mechanical disc brake- no hydraulic fluid to worry about.
• Front suspension offers a great ride thanks to the 80mm smooth-travel fork with preload adjustment and size-specific spring rates for fine-tuned performance. Specification are SunTour XCT, SR Suntour SF10-XCT-V2-MLO, 80mm, 1pc. alloy lower, 28mm Hi-Ten stanchions, mechanical LO, coil/mcu spring w/ preload adj. size-specific spring rates, spring assisted seals. It even has a lock out feature if you are commuting and don’t need the suspension.
• Now for the boring stuff- Fully butted A1 Premium Aluminum frame with double ORE down tube makes for a lighter weight, more compliant and longer lasting bike. Holding the controls and giving reliable steering is a trusty Alloy riser bar handlebar. With a 25mm rise, 640mm wide, 8 degree back sweep, 7 degree up sweep, comfort is easily found. The saddle is a Specialized XC, Body Geometry, 143mm width, front and rear bumpers. It is mounted on an alloy seatpost with a quick release for easy adjustments. The Stem is aheadset design, 3D forged alloy, 10 degree rise, 25.4mm clamp - 1-1/8"" threadless, loose ball.

This 19" framed bike was never ridden. It was bought new in 2010, taken around the block once and put in the garage. I have all the documents and owners manual. There is nothing wrong with it; it just never felt right for the buyer, who has now gone to an E-bike. The pictures show that other than some dust, this is how it rolled off the assembly line.
