Meet Whiskey, a handsome and friendly but shy fella who is looking for a new family to continue loving him like I have.
He is unfortunately not banded, but is between 4-5 years old and a stunning grey/turquoise colouration.
Whiskey is tame, and will step up and hang out on people’s shoulders. That being said, he is not a cuddly bird and prefers to not be touched too much. His favourite thing is to sit on a perch very nearby you and just share mutual space while watching TV or something. He is a sweet boy, not aggressive at all, just likes to keep to himself.
He is a Parrot (Indian Ringneck) and thus can be loud, however compared to other Ringnecks I’ve met he really does not scream that frequently. He does not speak any understandable words yet, though he does mimic a number of interesting noises - most of which I’m not even sure what they are honestly.
Whiskey enjoys hanging out in the bathroom during shower time, he loves the humidity but is not a big fan of the water actively touching him.
He is on a diet of Zupreem Natural pellets, with Zupreem PureFun mixed in for enrichment. As well as fresh vegetables and fruits of course.
Letting him go is a very difficult decision for me but I’m currently dealing with some incredibly difficult personal issues, unexpected vet bills, potential homelessness and other safety concerns… and I know that he deserves better.
He will come with a temporary travel cage and any leftover food I have.
I do need to find a new home asap, but I also want to find the right home first him so won’t just be going with the first message.
Ideally a pet placement, however I’m not necessarily opposed to a breeding placement so long as it’s a reputable aviary and he will still get free flight time and interaction.
Price is slightly negotiable, the best fit for him is what’s most important, but I do really need the money to help get myself out of this situation.
