About Us:
Abruzzo Pizza has been a Richmond Hill icon since 1981. Founded on a family legacy that started in Southern Italy, we treat our recipes like heirlooms and our community like family. We are a high-volume, fast-paced Italian restaurant operating strictly for Pick-Up and Delivery. We are looking for an experienced, energetic Pizza Maker to join our tight-knit kitchen crew and help us keep the tradition alive!
What You’ll Do:
Dough Mastery: Hand-stretch, portion, and prepare dough quickly and consistently (retaining the perfect bubbly crust our customers love).
Assembly & Baking: Topping pizzas, panzos, and prepping items accurately according to our classic family recipes.
Oven Management: Efficiently manage the pizza ovens during heavy pick-up and delivery rushes.
Kitchen Prep & Cleanliness: Prep fresh ingredients, sauces, and toppings daily while maintaining immaculate food safety standards.
Speed & Stamina: Work smoothly under pressure alongside our delivery drivers and counter staff to ensure orders go out hot and on time.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience throwing dough and making pizza in a high-volume commercial kitchen.
The Hustle: Ability to maintain speed and accuracy during intense weekend dinner rushes.
Reliability: Punctual, hard-working, and a team player who takes pride in the food they make.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
