Driver description:
1. Delivering skids of freight to stores throughout southern Manitoba. 4-5 stores per scheduled run. Usually drop 1-2 skids and pick up 1 skid of returns, using pallet jacks and power tailgates.
2. Delivery schedules vary from 10:45AM to 3 or 4 pm.
3. Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Perform pre trip inspections before each run, checking but not limited to checking oil, and DEF fluid, Lights, tires, air lines, air pressure etc etc.
4. Keep interior of truck clean. Ex. Clean inside windshield, dash etc etc. Through your garbage out after every trip out.
5. Show up to work ON TIME to meet daytime delivery departure time.
6. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
7. Report defects, accidents or violations
8. Must be able to lift 75 lbs
