Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Auto Dismantler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient disassembly of end-of-life and salvage vehicles, recovering usable parts and materials for resale or recycling.
Key Responsibilities

Dismantle vehicles using hand and power tools, following proper safety procedures
Remove, inspect, and catalog usable parts such as engines, transmissions, doors, and electronics
Drain and safely dispose of fluids including oil, coolant, brake fluid, and fuel in compliance with environmental regulations
Sort and organize salvaged parts for inventory and resale
Operate forklifts, hoists, and other shop equipment as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work with inventory systems to log and label recovered parts
Coordinate with the sales team to fulfill customer parts requests

Requirements

Prior experience in auto dismantling, automotive repair, or a related mechanical field preferred
Knowledge of vehicle systems and components (engine, drivetrain, electrical, body, etc.)
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment safely
Familiarity with environmental regulations for fluid and hazardous material disposal
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Valid driver's licence an asset
Forklift certification an asset
