Licensed Automotive Technician Wanted
D’s Service in Cardston is seeking a full-time licensed automotive technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills who works well both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diagnostic Skills: Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
Mechanical Repair: Experience repairing engines, brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems. (Transmission experience is an asset).
Preventive Maintenance: Knowledgeable in performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, inspections, and fluid checks.
Customer Service: Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer concerns and provide effective solutions.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with modern automotive technology.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
Safety Compliance: Understanding of workplace safety procedures and automotive repair regulations.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, assist colleagues, and share knowledge.
Must possess a personal toolbox and basic automotive tools.
Valid driver’s license required.
Additional Assets
Experience with computerized work orders or shop management systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
