Dump Truck Driver

Location: Manitoba

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our growing team in Manitoba. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregate materials, soil, gravel, sand, asphalt, and other construction materials to and from job sites while ensuring compliance with all provincial transportation and safety regulations.

✅ Responsibilities

Operate tandem, tri-axle, or semi dump trucks safely and efficiently.

️ Transport materials to construction sites, municipal projects, and commercial locations.

Conduct daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections as required by Manitoba regulations.

Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.

⚖️ Secure loads and ensure compliance with weight restrictions and safety standards.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and site personnel.

Report vehicle defects, incidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.

Maintain a clean and professional work environment.

Qualifications

✔️ Valid Manitoba Class 1 Driver's Licence

✔️ Clean Driver's Abstract

✔️ Minimum 1–2 years of dump truck or heavy truck driving experience preferred

✔️ Knowledge of Manitoba traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations

✔️ Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required

✔️ Strong commitment to workplace safety

✔️ Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions

️ Experience in construction, road building, or aggregate hauling

Heavy equipment operation experience

Safety certifications such as CSTS, WHMIS, or First Aid
