Smudge was found partially deaf and blind, struggling to survive on his own outside. He has spent six months with a foster family in Kincardine, recovering his health and learning to be loved.
Smudge requires patient humans who will read his social cues and provide special care for one of his ears, which needs consistent at-home cleaning to prevent infection. He does not get along with other cats.
He is very affectionate, playful, and mischievous. He loves to be hugged and carried around.
