Youth Rise Recreation has a unique opportunity for the right candidate.

We are a newly established not-for-profit corporation currently working toward charitable status. Our mission is to provide recreational and sporting opportunities for underprivileged youth throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

As we prepare to launch our fundraising initiatives in the coming weeks, we are seeking to hire our first team member to assist with fundraising operations. This role will involve representing the organization at donation booths and information tables set up at various community locations. In the coming months, Youth Rise Recreation will begin facilitating sports and recreational programs for youth participants.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the potential to grow within the organization. Our goal is to develop the successful candidate into a future managerial role, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in advancing from within a growing organization.

Mandatory Requirements

Clean criminal record and ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
Demonstrated trustworthiness and strong moral character
Availability to work most weekends
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Residence within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

Valid G-Class driver's license
Access to reliable transportation
Entrepreneurial mindset and initiative
Flexible availability
