We are a warm, respectful, family-oriented household seeking an experienced, reliable, and caring Live-In Nanny / House Manager to become a valued long-term part of our family.

We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, proactive, organized, and enjoys helping families. This is much more than a typical nanny position. We need someone who can assist with childcare, household management, cleaning, organization, errands, driving, and supporting the overall day-to-day operations of our home.

Position Overview

This is a combination of:

✅ Live-In Nanny
✅ House Manager
✅ Mother's Helper
✅ Household Assistant

We are looking for someone who can become an extension of our family and help keep our household running smoothly.

Childcare Responsibilities

- Morning routines and preparing children for school
- School/daycare pickups and drop-offs
- Supervising children after school
- Assisting with homework and daily routines
- Organizing activities and schedules
- Helping with bedtime routines
- Occasional evening babysitting when parents are out
- Weekend activities and family outings
- Providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment

Household Management Responsibilities

- Deep cleaning and general housekeeping
- Laundry, folding, ironing, and organizing
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- Household organization and maintenance
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- Changing bed linens and organizing closets
- Managing household supplies
- Running errands when required

️ Kitchen & Mother's Helper Duties

- Assisting with meal preparation
- Washing and cutting vegetables
- Kitchen organization and cleanup
- Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Grocery shopping assistance
- Household errands
- General support to help keep daily family routines running smoothly

Cooking experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Assistance at Grandmother's Home

My mother lives nearby and will also require assistance.

Approximately 2–4 hours per day, 2–3 times per week, the successful candidate will assist with:

- Deep cleaning
- Light cleaning
- Laundry
- Kitchen assistance
- Household organization
- General household support

This assistance is considered part of the overall position and will be coordinated with the family's schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications

✅ Previous nanny, childcare, housekeeping, house manager, or mother's helper experience

✅ Valid Canadian driver's licence with a clean driving record

✅ Comfortable driving children to and from school, activities, appointments, and family outings

✅ Strong household management and organizational skills

✅ Ability to perform both light housekeeping and deep cleaning duties

✅ Ability to multitask and manage a busy family schedule

✅ Reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and proactive personality

✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision

Required Documents

The successful candidate must provide:

✅ Updated resume

✅ Minimum of 2–3 professional references

✅ Police Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one)

✅ Driver's Abstract showing a clean driving record

✅ Proof of legal eligibility to work in Canada

✅ First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)

⏰ Schedule

- Approximately 6 days per week
- Sunday generally off
- Flexible schedule required
- Typical start time around 7:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM
- Some evening availability required
- Occasional travel with the family may be requested
- Alternate days off may occasionally be arranged by mutual agreement
