Title: Form Carpenter
Employer: 911 Construction
Location: Vaughan, Woodbridge, GTA
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (33-40 hours/week), Overtime as necessary
Wage: $48.36/hour plus union benefits
Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
911 Construction is a company specialized in concrete formwork, flatwork and landscape construction with an immediate need for one form carpenter for its various residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
Duties/Responsibilities
- determine specifications and calculate material requirements;
- responsible for preparing layouts and interpreting blueprints and drawings;
- measure, cut, assemble and join materials of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other forming materials;
- utilize hand tools and power tools for precise execution of tasks;
- collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
- proficient in using hand and power tools effectively;
- capable of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties;
- excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work;
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
