About the Role
Custom Courier Co. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team.
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating local and provincial deliveries, assigning work to our fleet contractors, and ensuring timely, efficient service to our customers. This role is ideal for a flexible, positive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every day presents new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer customer phone calls and respond to delivery requests
• Provide rate quotes for potential deliveries
• Coordinate and dispatch delivery requests to fleet contractors
• Monitor deliveries, troubleshoot, and resolve logistical issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing as required
Qualifications & Skills
• Prior experience or knowledge of the transportation, logistics, or courier industry preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer applications
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues to solve problems and improve operations
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and accuracy
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
