Gee Tee Holdings is seeking a skilled and safety conscious Heavy Equipment Operator (Class 1 or 3) to join our team.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License and be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment while assisting with general labor duties on various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders, etc.) safely and efficiently while following site plans and supervisor instructions.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs as required.
• Assist crew members with ground-level labour duties, including site preparation, material handling, grading, and site cleanup.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other site personnel.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License with a satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a variety of heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from the workplace and various job sites.
• Physically capable of performing demanding labor duties and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to workdays, evenings, and occasional weekends as operational requirements dictate.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.

Hours of Work:

• Typical hours of work are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on operational and project requirements.
