Machine Operator

Location: Toronto, ON
Pay Rate: Will be discussed during the interview based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor food processing machinery (fillers, sealers, labelers, etc.)
2. Assemble and disassemble machines and equipment for production runs, cleaning, and maintenance
3. Perform thorough washing and sanitation of machines and parts following cleaning procedures and food safety standards
4. Perform routine checks to ensure proper machine functionality and product quality
5. Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and sanitation procedures
6. Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment
7. Record production data, downtime, and quality checks accurately
8. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area at all times
9. Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues

Requirements

* Previous experience in food manufacturing or machine operation preferred
* Experience with equipment assembly/disassembly and sanitation processes is an asset
* Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP)
* Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
* Ability to lift up to 25 kg
* Willingness to learn and grow
