I am looking for a affordable furnished basement suite, or room with a private bathroom and entrance for Oct 1st in Ottawa.
A bit about me: I am a 50-year-old man relocating back to Ontario from B.C. at the end of September to be closer to my 11 year old daughter who lives with her mother in Barrhaven.

I am on a permanent, fixed disability income ($1,500/month), plus I will be working my allowable amount on top of that (another $1650 a month) so my rent is always guaranteed and paid on time. My ceiling for rent with utilities included would be $900 for room and $1100 for a suite. If it is a room with a shared bathroom and common spaces I’m not looking to share that with anymore than one other person
I am a very quiet, respectful, and clean person. I don’t smoke, party, or have pets.
Because I am driving across the country in late September, I am hoping to secure my housing before I leave B.C. I have a savings buffer and am completely prepared to transfer the last month's rent deposit immediately once we do a video interview and sign a lease agreement.
