Administrative and Marketing Assistant (Co-Op Placement) | 2 Positions Available

Position Description

We are seeking motivated and diligent students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare, marketing, or business administration. This placement offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a medical walk-in clinic setting. Selected students will assist with front-desk operations and marketing and communication initiatives under the supervision of the clinic manager and licensed Chiropodist.

Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and assist with client intake, appointment scheduling, and insurance claim submissions.
Support marketing activities including social media content creation, promotional material design, and community outreach.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
Assist with office organization, filing, and daily operational support.
Contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills in a professional healthcare environment.
Understand the fundamentals of marketing, branding, and community engagement in a healthcare setting.
Develop an understanding of workflow and patient interaction (non-clinical observation only).
Gain exposure to career pathways in healthcare and business through mentorship and observation.

We're Looking for…
Students currently enrolled in Grades 10–12
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Interest in healthcare, marketing, and/or business administration
Professionalism, reliability, and willingness to learn

Placement Details
Format: In-person placement, 5 days per week. One morning shift and one afternoon shift are available, with timing dependent on the high school's schedule.
