Licensed Home Daycare – Southdale Neighborhood

We are a licensed home daycare provider in the Southdale area seeking a reliable, competent, and caring Part-Time Daycare Assistant to join our faith-centered home daycare.

We value a nurturing environment rooted in Christian values such as kindness, patience, respect, and love for children. A Christian background or comfort working in a faith-based setting is preferred.


Position Details
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (3–4 hours per day)
• Wage: $17/hour
• Position Type: Part-time
• Closing Date: January 23, 2026


Qualifications
• Genuine interest and passion for working with children
• Caring, patient, and attentive especially with active kids
• Physically able to engage in hands-on play, movement, and daily activities
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable working in a Christian, faith-based environment
• Childcare experience is an asset
• Vulnerable Sector Check is an asset or willingness to obtain


Responsibilities
• Assist with daily childcare routines
• Supervise and actively engage children in play
• Plan and support age-appropriate activities both indoor & outdoor
• Encourage physical activities and active play
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs
