4D Farms is looking for an operations assistant!
We are a family-owned and operated grain farm, along with a laying hen operation. We are seeking a full-time farm hand to join our team in a long-term role. This position is well suited for someone looking to build a career in agriculture and take pride in contributing to a working family farm.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on, varied role that requires flexibility and initiative. The successful candidate will often work independently and will be involved in both crop and livestock operations.
Responsibilities Include:
• Routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• Grain hauling and handling
• Operating tractors and other farm machinery
• Yard work and property maintenance
• Caring for laying hens and gathering eggs
• Assisting with seasonal field operations and other general farm duties
Qualifications & Characteristics:
• Self-motivated and dependable; able to work independently
• Comfortable operating farm equipment (experience preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
• Patient and attentive when working with livestock
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
• Physically capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to learn and grow within the operation
