Shining Falls Lodge is looking for a motivated individual for the position of Dockhand/ General Labourer for the 2026 season.

Shining Falls Lodge is a Fly-In Fishing Lodge located on Family Lake, Manitoba east of Lake Winnipeg. This position would be live on site from Mid May to Mid August with a possibility of work into September or October.

We are looking for an individual who is friendly, out-going and self motivated. A love of the outdoors is a must.

- The position of Dockhand/ General Laborer will include tasks such as guest assistance on beach, care and maintenance of boats and fish house, filleting fish, helping out the other staff members with their duties, shore lunch, and miscellaneous tasks that involve physical labour such as unloading and loading the float plane, etc...

The chosen applicants will be flown to the lodge mid May and out at the end of the work term. Room and board is provided for the term of employment.
