Job Opening: Auto Parts Dismantler – Salvage Yard (Full-Time)

Barez Auto Recycling is hiring an experienced and reliable Auto Parts Dismantler to join our salvage yard team. We specialize in used engines, transmissions, body parts, differentials, and more. If you have strong mechanical skills and enjoy hands-on work, this position is for you.

Responsibilities:
Dismantle vehicles outdoors in all seasons (cars, trucks, SUVs)
Remove a wide range of parts including:
Engines & transmissions
Differentials & axles
Suspensions & steering components
Airbags, interior parts, wiring
Body panels, cutting quarter panels when needed
Safely operate automotive tools and equipment
Identify, label, and prepare parts for inventory
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Meet daily production expectations

Requirements:
Must have your own tools (impact gun, sockets, wrenches, etc.)
Must be able to work outdoors year-round
Strong mechanical/automotive knowledge required
Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks
Experience dismantling engines, transmissions, and driveline components required
Ability to safely remove airbags and cut body sections
Reliability, good work ethic, and ability to work independently
Forklift experience is an asset (training available)
Valid driver's license preferred
