Job Title and Overview
The Order Picker / Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer
orders in a warehouse setting. This role ensures orders are completed efficiently, safely, and in
accordance with company quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and
able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Job Functions
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified procedures
• Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and staging
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies
• Follow all safety and quality guidelines, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
requirements
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory as needed
• Report any issues or damages to supervisors promptly
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar environment is an asset
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
Working Conditions
• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (schedule may vary depending on
operational needs)
• Occasional overtime may be required, including evenings and weekends during peak periods
• Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, temperature variations, and physically
demanding tasks
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions for extended periods
