Job duties:

Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements

Set up scaffolding to ensure safe access to roofs

Estimate the amounts of materials required for projects and quote costs.

Install, repair or replace built-up and single-ply roofing systems using materials such as asphalt, gravel, and plastics.

Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.

Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.

Terms of employment:
Permanent, Full-time

Wage:
$36.00 per hour

Hours:
30 hours per week

Oakville/GTA

Skills requirements:

No Education Required

A minimum of two years of work experience as a roofer is required
