This is a 4-piece (9 foot total), 4 weight Sage Z-Axis rod that is in excellent condition. It’s a high-end fast action rod that hands-down beats slower action rods when casting into the wind yet still allows for delicate presentation of dry flies. It’s quite light in hand and the tip section has a tremendous amount of “feel”. It also has plenty of moxie for fighting bigger fish than you should be targeting with a 4 weight.
