Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher / Meat Cutter to join our team. This role requires a well-rounded professional capable of handling the full meat processing cycle, including slaughtering and precision cutting of beef, lamb, and pork.

Key Responsibilities

Perform humane slaughtering and processing of animals on the kill floor

Cut, trim, and prepare beef, lamb, and pork to required specifications

Operate meat processing equipment, including HEMs and cutting tools

Ensure cleanliness and maintain a safe, organized work environment

Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter

Basic verbal and written English communication skills

Strong knowledge of portioning, weighing, and meat preparation techniques

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Familiarity with safe meat handling and cutting practices

Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
