Schedule – 5-6 days per week (project dependent), overtime hours

Position Overview
Dennis Dirtworx Ltd. is looking for a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating excavators for various construction and agricultural projects including digging, trenching and material handling.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate excavators safely and efficiently on construction and earthmoving projects
• Perform excavation, trenching, and loading tasks
• Work closely with ground crews and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
• Conduct daily equipment inspections
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work areas on site

Qualifications
• Previous experience operating excavators in construction or earthmoving - 2 years or more
• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Class 5) – Candidate to provide 5 Year Driver Abstract
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Must be able to work Saturdays if required and willing to travel out of town for various projects
