Job Posting: Visual Inspector Level 1 or 2 (CWB) / Magnetic Particle Technician Level 1 or 2 (CGSB)

Aegis Inspection Ltd. is currently seeking a qualified Visual Inspector Level 1 or 2 (CWB) with Magnetic Particle Testing Level 1 or 2 (CGSB) certification to support ongoing and upcoming projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and technical competence.
Required Qualifications
CWB Visual Inspection Level 1 or 2 (CSA W178.2)
CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing Level 1 or 2
Strong working knowledge of CSA W47.1, CSA W59, and applicable inspection practices
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and inspection criteria
Experience performing shop and/or field inspections
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally with clients
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of structural steel fabrication and erection
Conduct Magnetic Particle Testing in accordance with CGSB requirements
Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
Review and verify quality documentation (WPS, WPDS, welder qualifications, etc.)
Accurately complete inspection reports and documentation
Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally with clients and project teams
Maintain certification compliance and adhere to company quality procedures
Assets (Considered an Advantage)
Additional NDT certifications (UT, PT, etc.)
Experience with bridge, commercial, or industrial steel projects
Familiarity with client-specific inspection or reporting systems
