About Us

Proline Soccer Academy is a high-performance football academy based in Edmonton, Alberta. Our program is built on structured, professional training standards with a strong focus on long-term player development and a European-style methodology. We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director / Head Coach to lead all aspects of our academy’s technical structure, coaching development, and player progression.

Position Overview

This is a senior leadership role responsible for building, implementing, and managing a complete training and development system. The successful candidate will oversee all coaches, players, and training environments to ensure a consistent, high-performance standard aligned with elite European football methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement a comprehensive training curriculum based on professional European coaching standards
Oversee and manage all training sessions to ensure high-level structure, intensity, and consistency
Lead, supervise, and develop coaching staff (senior and junior coaches)
Establish and maintain a clear player development pathway across all age groups
Develop and deliver internal coach education and training programs
Ensure discipline, organization, and professionalism across all academy operations
Monitor player performance and progression, implementing structured development plans
Manage scheduling, training structure, and overall technical operations of the academy

Minimum Requirements (MANDATORY)
UEFA A License (or equivalent internationally recognized certification)
Minimum 5–10 years of coaching experience in Europe
Experience working within:
Professional football clubs OR
Elite youth academies in Europe
Proven experience managing coaching staff and leading structured programs
Demonstrated ability to design and implement high-performance training systems
Strong knowledge of player development, periodization, and training methodology
Experience working in a professional, disciplined football environment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience coaching or working with national teams (any level)
Experience in coach education and staff development
Background in high-performance or professional football environments
