We are a caring family looking for a warm, reliable individual to provide evening support for our elderly parents. Our parents are lovely, thoughtful people who, due to age and health, need a little extra help to make their evenings comfortable and enjoyable.
 
Location: Downtown Kitchener area
Pay: $21/hour
 
️ SCHEDULE
• Monday – Saturday: 1.5 hours per evening (approximately 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM)
• Sundays: 3-hour late afternoon/early evening shift
 
✅ RESPONSIBILITIES
• Heating meals and light food preparation (e.g., making a sandwich or salad) as needed
• Setting and clearing the dinner table
• Washing dishes
• Assistance with evening medications
• Light housekeeping
• Sunday meal prep to help set the family up for the week ahead
 
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The right person for this role is someone who:
• Communicates with patience and warmth — our parents need someone who moves at their pace
• Is responsible, conscientious, and genuinely friendly and outgoing
• Has experience working with older adults
• Speaks Urdu or Hindi (strongly preferred — our parents are from Pakistan and would feel most at home with someone from a similar background)
