Hello hello , I'm a 31 year old physically capable male looking for work;
I've been in school for a while and need to get back to it, but im stuck in a limbo trying to find work right now.
I live in South East near the canyon Meadows area, I have plenty of experience doing all types of labor from landscaping to construction to some trades and installing security shutters, I have TONS of experience driving company vehicles as big a 5ton cube vans and delivery trucks , much of those trips were through blizzards to banff. I have a clean driver's abstract, and some basic tickets like first aid, fall protection, scissor lift, basically anything that can get me on a construction site.
But I'm having a hard time finding a job for the first time in my life cause I don't have a vehicle right now and nowhere seems interesting in wanting to hire someone who has to catch transit to work.
I can get a loan for a vehicle now if I wanted too but because I'm not working my payments will be insanely high, and without a job I can't lower my payments
I have no issues with transit and getting to work on time and after 2 paycheques I'd be able to go get a lowered payment and interest rate and be driving again anyways.
Or if I can get in with a company that has company vehicles that would be even better !
I have a great resume and my work ethic is extraordinary, most jobs I have worked in the past I was given a 5-10$ raise in my first two weeks and it has been that way since I was 18. I learn new skills exceedingly quick and learn then the way you want me to do them, past experience doesn't get in the way of that. I don't mind long hours and can work weekends too!
