Job Description

McWilliam Auto is seeking a skilled, reliable Auto Body Technician to join our busy, professional repair facility. This is a full-time, permanent position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Repair and restore damaged vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards

Perform bodywork, welding, refinishing, and structural repairs

Remove dents, scratches, and surface imperfections

Replace damaged panels, parts, and components as required

Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of repaired parts

Use shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Work closely with the paint team to ensure high-quality results

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Follow all workplace safety procedures and shop standards

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician

5 years preferred (apprentices welcome to apply)

Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting

Dealership or professional shop experience is an asset

Full Manitoba Driver's Licence required

Red Seal certification is an asset (not required)
