Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)-Landscape Design & Construction Company
Erin–Acton, ON (In-Person)

Job Overview:
We are an established, award-winning landscape design and construction company seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both office staff and field crews.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by providing administrative and basic accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform daily administrative tasks including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and expense tracking
-Enter and manage data in QuickBooks and internal databases
-Maintain and update client, job, and company records
-Provide administrative support to management and office staff
-Communicate with field crews to support project coordination
-Answer and direct phone calls and emails professionally
-Order office supplies and research vendors/suppliers
-Liaise with external partners (bank, insurance providers, etc.)
-Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
-Help maintain and improve office procedures and workflows
-Keep the office environment clean and organized
-Additional office & planting tasks available if interested

Qualifications & Skills:
-Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required)
-Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
-Strong interpersonal skills; team player with a positive attitude
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer skills (Apple)
-Experience with QuickBooks and basic accounting (Accounts Payable/Receivable)
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Education & Experience:
S-econdary School Diploma (required)
-Post-secondary education in Business or related field (preferred)
-Minimum 1 year of administrative or clerical experience (preferred)

Work Details:
-Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible daytime hours (~20 hours/week)
-Compensation: $19.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
-Work Environment: In-person office setting (Erin–Acton area)
-Additional Requirement: Must be comfortable around cats and dogs
